The first of a two-sided self portrait that I made way back in art school. The lion is a sort of symbolic stand-in for my cat Ringo. I know, he looks a bit like Simba from The Lion King, but that was purely a happy accident; I regret nothing. This image is intended to represent inner strength and the physical power I wish I could wield in real life.
